OTEC: Ohio Transportation Engineering Conference

The Ohio Transportation Engineering Conference is a two-day conference attended by over 2,400 people from across the United States.  OTEC is co-sponsored by the Ohio Department of Transportation and The Ohio State University, and the conference is organized to provide something for everyone interested in Ohio’s transportation industry.  The program addresses the latest policies and technical information, as well as covering new ideas in transportation policies, planning, design, construction, maintenance, operation, local government, and management of transportation resources. ITS Arizona 18th Annual Conference

ITS Arizona’s mission is to promote cooperation and foster a statewide public, private and academic partnership and to assure the urban and rural surface transportation system in Arizona is safer, more effective and efficient by accelerating the identification, development, integration and deployment of advanced technologies. ITS Arizona strives to provide information exchange among governments, private sector and academia; inform and educate the public; encourage a strong ITS industry within the state; foster research and development; and serve as a clearinghouse for ITS information. ITS Arizona is pleased to announce its 18th Annual Conference, Streamlining ITS - How to Make the Most Use of What We Have, to be held at the Mesa Convention Center, Building C, 263 N. Center Street, Mesa, Arizona 85201, on September 29, 2011.  Over 200 ITS professionals from the public and private sectors are expected to attend. Registration includes continental breakfast, fiesta themed buffet lunch, refreshments, and a carnival stand of afternoon snacks at the ITS Arizona Annual Meeting. Registration also includes ITS Arizona membership through December 2012 with quarterly e-newsletters and special access to the ITS Arizona website. ITE NY Upstate Section Annual Meeting

The ITE New York Upstate Section and the Highway Data Workshop and Conference (HiDaC) will co-host a conference in Buffalo NY on September 21-23, 2011. HiDaC is a conference series focusing on presentations and discussions of highway system inventory and extent, highway system designations, and highway system performance. The conference will be preceded by a free two-day training session on the Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) being offered by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) beginning on Tuesday, September 20. The State University of New York at Buffalo ITE student chapter plans to participate, so students are most welcome.
