The United States Federal Government recently introduced the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Under the Act, the federal government has launched a Broadband Stimulus program, which is designed to allocate funding for broadband network deployments under the Rural Utilities Services (RUS) programs managed by the NTIA (National Telecommunications and Information Administration) and the new Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP).
