- An ENCOM assigned RMA number is valid for a 30 day period from the date of issue. If no shipment has been received, the RMA will be closed and a new RMA number will be required.
- Items within ENCOM's Warranty period will be repaired or replaced and shipped back at no cost. A replacement unit is at the discretion of the company.
- Items out of warranty will require a Purchase Order (P.O.) for an assessment amount of $75.00. An RMA will not be assigned or accepted without this P.O. Dealers/Customers with RMA’s requiring repair will be contacted by an Encom Customer Service Representative who will provide estimated costs for the required repair. These costs will include labor, billed out at $150.00 per hour, plus materials. Shipping charges will be paid by the Client.
- Out of warranty repairs will not be commenced prior to receipt of the second Purchase Order (P.O.). If the second Purchase Order (P.O.) has not been received within two weeks of notifying the Dealer/Customer, a second attempt will be made. If there is no response to the second attempt it will be assumed that the items are to be returned without repair. Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the Dealer/Customer.
- The Standard Time Frame for an RMA to be completed is 3 weeks from the time the RMA has been received in house. This 3 week period includes the Initial Assessment, Testing, Repair, and Final Testing before it is to be shipped.
- All items to be returned for a Sales Credit or Exchange are at the discretion of the Authorized ENCOM Representative and are subject to a 25% restocking fee. All items to be returned for a Sales Credit or Exchange must be approved by the Authorized ENCOM Representative before the items can be shipped back.
- An event which is caused solely by the effect of nature or natural causes or an act of abuse by the user, thus damaging the radio and rendering it inoperable, is not covered under the warranty of Encom Wireless and thus will require a P.O. if the unit(s) is desired to be repaired.
