The 5200 contains one Serial (RS-232 or RS-485) interface, and is available in two styles: a stand-alone shelf mount unit (5200), or a 170/TS1/TS2 detector rack version (5200-R).
With standard Store and Forward Repeater LOS-extending capabilities, the 5200 offers full compatibility with all other 5000 series radios, allowing a mixture of RS-232 and FSK communications in wireless network configurations.
With the included Windows based configuration software, as well as a wide range of prebuilt and pretested application files for most major traffic interconnect products and third-party applications, configuring your Model 5200 is truly "plug and play".
