The COMMPAK I/O 8M is a contact closure master activation unit, available in one-push-button or eight push-button models, which controls COMMPAK I/O 8 radios in long-range operation (up to 20 miles line of sight). Applications include fire hall warning signals and weigh station signs.
ENCOM’s contact closure products are the cost-effective, time-saving alternative to traditional hardwired systems. With the COMMPAK I/O wireless contact closure system, managing on/off control or remote traffic detection is the very definition of simplicity.
Featuring bi-directional communications and the ability to confirm switch closure at a remote site, the COMMPAK I/O offers software programmable I/O mapping and real "plug and play" performance in point-multipoint configurations.
In addition to its simplicity, the COMMPAK I/O works effectively at a range of 20+ miles (with LOS), and the on board Spectrum Analyzer allows for flexibility in assessing noise levels and choosing optimal frequencies.
