Model 5270 – Pluggable Modem Card Transceiver
ENCOM 5270 is the industry leading Wireless Modem Card for 2070 Controllers available today. It provides fast, secure and reliable transfer of serial data. It plugs directly into the Modem slot of the 2070 Controller cabinet and is compatible with all existing 2070 Controllers. Each unit has a standard RS-232 serial port. Each ENCOM 5270 may be used as a Master, Remote or Repeater. The ENCOM 5270 provides maximum flexibility for Wireless Interconnect with convenience and ease of use.
Each unit includes our plug and play software to easily manage radio links. ENCOM’s plug and play software is a favorite in the traffic industry. A prebuilt, pretested application file allows “plug and play” setup.
